Privacy Policy
How DARVY handles the information you share with us.
Last updated September 2026
Who this covers
This policy covers darvy.co and the information you provide through it. It does not cover information exchanged during a DARVY engagement, which is governed by the engagement agreement and the secure process described in it.
What we collect
When you use the inquiry form we receive what you type: your name, email, phone if you include it, the type of situation you select, whether you are a professional, a description of what is happening, and a property location if you include one. Our hosting provider also records ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, as every website host does.
We do not set cookies for advertising and we do not run advertising trackers. If we add website analytics we will name the provider here.
How we use it
We use what you send us to respond to your inquiry, to understand whether DARVY is the right fit for your situation, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Where it goes
Form submissions are processed by our website host and delivered to a monitored DARVY inbox. Service providers we use, such as hosting and email, process information only as needed to provide their service to us. We do not share your information with anyone else unless you ask us to, or the law requires it.
Sensitive documents
Please do not submit trusts, wills, powers of attorney, financial statements, or other sensitive documents through the website. If you engage DARVY we will provide a secure method for sharing them, and the engagement agreement will govern how they are handled.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond and to maintain reasonable business records. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing melanie@aalbers.co. California residents may have additional rights under California privacy law, and we will honor requests made under it.
Children
This website is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new date.
